As we love Christmas so much, we made an entire website dedicated to the most wonderful time of the year! Our family-run business is now in its 3rd generation, and it’s safe to say that our passion for all things festive is, quite literally, in our blood.
Our story begins back in the 60s when we started selling basic Christmas items through our garden centre in Sutton Coldfield, England. By selling Christmas products in the garden centre, we were able to keep offering an extensive product choice to our customers over the quieter winter season, when the range of plants and flowers are typically reduced.
Soon after the millennium, unprecedented customer demand pushed us to move the festive stock into its own space within our garden centre, so we developed a whole new building just for Christmas, which was the official beginning of our psychical 'Christmas Shop'.
The public’s reaction to their new local dedicated Christmas shop was overwhelming and it soon gained such a fantastic reputation that we had people travelling to visit our magical store from all over the country. Fast forward to present day, our Christmas shop is now regarded as one of the UK’s best independent Christmas destinations - which you can even come and visit yourself during our open times over the Christmas period - see our visit us page for more info.
The first-hand knowledge and experience that has been built up and passed down over the last 60 years of trading was the driving force behind seizing the opportunity to start selling online nationally through an online store and website, thus resulting in the birth of ‘World of Christmas’. The expansion of our business meant the team has inevitably got bigger over the years, but one thing that every staff member can agree on is that all of our customers deserve to deck the halls in style.
