The terms and conditions for this website and online store World of Christmas, which govern this website and the supply of goods and services advertised upon.

These terms and conditions of sale apply to all services and goods supplied by World of Christmas (referred to as "World of Christmas/WorldofChristmas.co.uk/GardenSite LLP/seller/we/our/us"), whose registered office is at 211 Chester Road, Birmingham, West Midlands, B73 5BD. ‘Customer’ means the person or party who purchases the product(s). ‘Contract’ means any agreement between the Seller and the Customer.

By submitting an order for and/or purchasing any product, you are confirming your unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions and that you have read our privacy policy.

If you do not fully accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order or purchase any products from us and we ask that you do not use our website. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time and we ask that you check this page regularly to take notice of any amendments.


We may choose not to accept your order for any reason. We will not be liable to the customer or any other party under such circumstances. If we do not accept your order (in whole or in part), we will refund any monies paid in connection with that order (or that part of the order that we do not accept) to the extent permitted by law.

We reserve the right to cancel our agreement at any time until the order has been fulfilled. A full refund will be issued at this time. We do not accept liability for any loss that may arise as a result.

Unless otherwise stated, prices for our products are inclusive of VAT for deliveries to the United Kingdom. The total cost of your order and/or purchases is the price of the products, including VAT and any applicable delivery charges.

Unless we have otherwise agreed in writing, we will take payment of the total cost before or at the point of forwarding the order onto the relevant supplier, or prior to dispatch.

The processing and transfer of your payment and acknowledgment/receipt of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, World of Christmas will inform you as quickly as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.

Each product remains our (or the supplier’s) property until you have paid for it in full, or the product has been provided to you (whichever occurs later), whereupon you will own the product. The Customer takes responsibility for the goods once the goods have been delivered or collected by the Customer or their agent.

You may only pay for your order using a payment mechanism that you are authorised to use. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks by Sage Pay or any other provider we may employ. (Please refer to our Security Policy for more information on our payment service provider.) If the card issuer refuses to authorise payment or any other validation checks return adverse results, we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal.

Payments will be made in pounds sterling. International credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate and may add an additional processing or administration charge in relation to such payment. International credit card holders will be liable to pay any extra charges.


We do not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly advised to check suitability and specifications prior to placing an order.

We strive to keep our product pages, descriptions, dimensions, and specifications up to date and as accurate as possible.

Dimensions specified on each product range are displayed in good faith from the information received from the manufacturer and may have been rounded up or down to the nearest whole centimetre or inch.

Sizes in product titles are often rounded to 'nominal' sizes to show a quick reference to the average size.

Product images are displayed for illustration purposes only. We urge customers to not rely on the images alone, but on the specified dimensions and specifications when checking the size of the product and what is included with it as standard.

Product images may show the use of additional or optional accessories which are for illustration purposes only.

Pleas refer to the specified features list when checking what is included as standard.

Any advice or recommendations solicited by customers and provided by us verbally (i.e. over the phone) are given in good faith.

If the information you require will act as the deciding factor as to whether to complete a purchase or not, it is essential that you request it in writing prior to purchase to avoid potential misunderstandings.


Estimated delivery times are shown on individual product pages and are advised in good faith. Please be aware that these are estimations only and are based on our reasonable assumption that the item is available. If you order is wholly dependent on a confirmed delivery date, please contact World of Christmas directly prior to placing the order.

On certain products, there is an option for ‘next working day’ delivery. To qualify for this, orders must be placed before 11am. Orders placed on Friday before the deadline will not be delivered until Monday.

We work closely with our suppliers and distributors through whom some orders may be fulfilled. As such, some orders may be dispatched and delivered by third parties.

We cannot accept liability for items not delivered on time by our couriers and would recommend that you do not engage contractors or any type of worker until you are in physical possession of the goods.

World of Christmas is not liable to pay for any charges associated with an unsuccessful delivery attempt. The customer may be liable to pay for a re-delivery charge if re-delivery is required due to non-compliance by the customer during the original delivery attempt.


We will not be held responsible nor shall we have any liability for any failure or delay to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control, (including, without limitation, the following to the extent these are outside our reasonable control: accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports).

If you are acting as a business, World of Christmas shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, whether that be loss of profit, depletion of goodwill etc.) or any costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation which arise out of or in connection with your order.


Your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 (fourteen) days from the day you receive it.

Our returns policy is applicable to goods returned unused, in their original packaging and with all relevant paperwork and accessory items, such as instruction manuals, plugs, batteries etc.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer will pay for the cost of returning items when exercising their right to cancel/return a product.

World of Christmas acknowledges that we must refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first instance. If you opted for an enhanced, special, bespoke or non-standard delivery service, we are only required to refund the standard delivery cost.

We will make all reasonable endeavours to process your refund within 14 (fourteen) days of either us/the supplier getting the goods back. World of Christmas reserves the right to make a deduction to the refund price if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of the customer handling the goods more than was necessary (more than if you were assessing them in a shop) and to cover repackaging/administration fees.

For orders delivered by external suppliers, generally, we will not issue your refund until we have received written correspondence from said supplier detailing either cancellation or collection confirmation and any associated costs.

Any changes to your order must be notified to us within a reasonable time after placing the order. If you amend or change your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timetable and/or the price you pay for this item (you may be charged the current selling price on the day you amend your order).

If your order has already been dispatched, by ourselves or from an external supplier, we will be unable to implement any required changes/amendments.


On receipt of product(s), you must check they match your order. If there is any problem or defect, missing or damaged items, you must notify us without undue delay.

Some suppliers set their own timeframe within which faults and damages must be reported. Generally, we or the supplier will make good any shortage or non-delivery by replacing damaged or defective goods.

A collection and refund will only be offered under exceptional circumstances and must be authorised by us in writing. Where products are received damaged, we will require photo evidence as proof prior to sending out replacement parts. World of Christmas reserves the right to rectify any identified fault and/or damage within a reasonable period of time.

Some products may need to be sent back to us for testing to determine whether they are faulty. If, during testing, we find that the product is in good working order, you will be charged a fee to receive your product back.


The majority of our products are covered by a 12 month statutory guarantee. This guarantee does not cover wear and tear, damage, misuse or lack of maintenance/negligence.


If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your product(s) or service(s) and wish to make a complaint, please do so in writing via email to us on [email protected] and we will endeavour to get back to you within a reasonable period of time.


All text, graphics, images, multimedia, links, logos, trademarks, software, SEO text and computer code (the “Content”) belongs, or is licensed to, GardenSite LLP; the parent company of World of Christmas.

Where a third party supplier/partner has failed to actively protect any original work which now forms part of GardenSite’s Content, GardenSite LLP will have either obtained, or will be seeking, express written consent. As a result, unless there is express written refusal, GardenSite LLP will assume an implied license to use the supplier’s/partner’s work until express written consent has been received.

The Content is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights and you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, publicly display, translate, transmit or distribute this Content in any way without prior written consent from GardenSite LLP.
